Vicki Lynne Lock

Vicki Lock, 67 of Spirit Lake, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 23, 2026 at Holy Family Hospital in Estherville, IA due to complications with pneumonia. A funeral service will be held at 7 PM, Thursday, May 28, 2026 at Turner Jenness Funeral Home in Spirit Lake. Visitation will be held from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at Turner Jenness Funeral Home. Interment will be at Lakeview Cemetery in Spirit Lake.

Vicki Lynne Lock was born on September 1, 1958, in Des Moines, IA, to Edward and Penelope Lock. Vicki was raised in the Lakes Area and lived in group homes in Spirit Lake where she spent time with her friends. Later in life, she transitioned to nursing homes in Lake Park & Estherville. 

Vicki worked at Plus for many years where she sorted cans and made products for Berkley. Vicki was a child of God, and attended Spirit Life Fellowship Church. She truly loved the Lord and would share that love freely with anyone she met. Family was very important to Vicki, and she loved her family deeply. You could always find her at family gatherings with a big smile on her face. Vicki also loved to color in coloring books, and had a large collection of books. The world was truly a happier place with Vicki in it. She will be dearly missed.

Vicki is survived by her siblings: Ed & Robin Lock of Milford; Shane & Michelle Lock of Fort Dodge; and Kimi Jo & Jeremy Hunter of Le Mars; her Aunt and Uncle, Dennis & Caroline of Mansfield, TX; her cousins: Scott & Beth Dean of Spencer; Cory Dean of Spirit Lake; and Doug & Kim Dean of Jackson, MN; Vicki also leaves behind several nieces and nephews, cousins, and great nieces & nephews that she adored.

Vicki is preceded in death by her grandparents: Hilmar & Imogene Martini; her parents; her Aunt and Uncle, Lynne & Bill Dean; and her older sister, Debbie Lock.
