Vaughn Stanley Coleman, 73, of Milford, Iowa, peacefully passed away on Sunday, September 1st, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. A gathering will be on Saturday, September 7th beginning at 1:30 PM at the Milford Community Center followed by a Celebration of Life service at 2:00 PM. After the service, interment will be at Lakeview Gardens Cemetery followed by a luncheon at the Milford Community Center.

Born on November 18, 1950, in Emmetsburg, Iowa, Vaughn was the eldest child of Elmo and Doris (Ahrens) Coleman. He attended Milford Community School and served in the United States Navy after graduation. Following his military service, Vaughn moved to Denver, Colorado, where he resided for 15 years. It was during this time that he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.

In 1986, Vaughn returned to Milford and met his beloved wife, Deb (Merry) Coleman. They were married for 38 years and together raised their daughter, Jamie Leigh Coleman. Their lives were filled with love for the Lord, for each other, and for their family.

Vaughn established his own business, "We Do Windows," serving the lakes area for over two decades. He retired in 2021. A passionate outdoorsman, Vaughn enjoyed pheasant hunting with his faithful dog Ellie, spending time with his family and friends, and cherishing moments with his 10 grandchildren. He had a deep love for people and a steadfast faith in his merciful Lord, often sharing his testimony of salvation to encourage others.

A faithful servant of Christ, Vaughn's warm presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him. While his family grieves his recent passing, they find comfort in the knowledge that through Christ's gift of salvation, they will see him again. 

Vaughn is survived by, his wife, Deb Coleman; children, Jamie Coleman, Tara Wittkamp (Jacob), David Low (Patrice), Jason Low (Raine); grandchildren, Keon Motley, Kyndrie Motley, Trevor Wittkamp, Liam Wittkamp, Jack Low, Sam Low, Maddie Low, Charlie Low, Taylor Low and Tristan Low. His three siblings, David Coleman, Jim Coleman and Diane Daws. He was preceded in death by his father, Elmo Coleman and his mother, Doris (Ahrens) Coleman.
