Ronarae Arlene Riemenschneider

A visitation for Ronarae Riemenschneider, age 51 of Fostoria, will be held Sunday, August 2, 2026 from 11:00-1:00 PM at Turner Jenness Funeral Home in Spirit Lake. A time of remembrance will begin Sunday at 1:00 PM at the Turner Jenness Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials in memory of Ronorae can be given to the family to be used to honor her life.

Ronarae Arlene Riemenschneider, the daughter of Ronald J. Thompson and Doris Ann (Crosser) Macek, was born on September 30, 1974. She moved to the Lakes Area in 1979 and during her high school years, enjoyed wintering in Texas. She graduated from Okoboji High School.

On August 3, 2013, Ronarae was united in marriage to Andrew Frank Riemenschneider. She worked as a hairstylist and later worked as a Para at the Okoboji School. Ronarae enjoyed spending time crocheting, gardening, riding motorcycles, camping, traveling, and reading. Above all, she treasured the time she spent with her family.

Ronarae passed away on July 29, 2026, at Spencer Hospital, surrounded by her family and friends, at the age of fifty-one.

She is remembered by her husband, Andrew Riemenschneider; daughters, Keitra and Rianna; step-sons, Alexander and Phoenix; sisters, Dorene, Robyn, and Sherri; brothers, Mike and Rocky; former husbands, Keith "C.B." and Jay; as well as many friends, cousins and other family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ronald J. Thompson and Doris Macek; stepfather, Joe; brother, L.F. (Gog); uncle, Raymond; grandmother, Arlene (Pete); grandfather, Jake; and father-in-law, Alan.
