Rick Duhn

A funeral service for Rick Duhn, 66, of Spirit Lake, will be held at 3 pm, Saturday, March 16, 2019, at Turner Jenness Funeral Home in Spirit Lake. Visitation will be begin at 2 pm until service time at the funeral home. Interment will be at Superior Township Cemetery in rural Superior. Rick Duhn was born October 19, 1952, in Estherville, Iowa, the son of Louie Herman and Abbie Louise (Christensen) Duhn. He was raised and educated in Spirit Lake, graduating from Spirit Lake High School. Rick was united in marriage to Teresa Griese on April 25, 1987, in Spirit Lake, Iowa. The couple made their home in Spirit Lake. Rick worked as a stone mason. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing and trapping. Rick passed away Thursday, March 14, 2019 at Lakes Regional Health Care in Spirit Lake at sixty-six years of age. He is survived by his wife Teri; children, Justin (Kim) Duhn and Robin Duhn; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; brothers, Jerry (Inez) Duhn, Roger (Marlene) Duhn, Bill (Bonnie) Duhn and Delmar Duhn; sisters, Carol (Ernie) Cupp and Connie Lenox. He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Shane Duhn, and two great grandchildren.
