Nancy Jo Trojahn

July 11, 1963 — November 21, 2020

A memorial service for Nancy Jo Trojahn, age 57, of Terril, will be held Friday, November 27, 2020 1:30pm in the parking lot area of First Lutheran Church in West Okoboji.

Nancy Jo Trojahn, a child of God, was born to Della and Jim Roskens on July 11, 1963. Nancy was joined in marriage to Kendall Trojahn on June 25, 1983. They made their happy home in Terril, Iowa and to this union, they welcomed Michael and Michelle.

Nancy loved people and people loved her. She was an amazing, loving, inspirational hero to many. She always put others first and had the biggest heart full of love. Nancy had many happy places, her kitchen was the first. She loved baking and cooking. She enjoyed hopping in the camper as much as they could and enjoying the warm campfires. Gardening and taking care of her flower gardens were another passion.

Nancy gained her angel wings on Friday, November 21, 2020 after a very courageous, long hard fought battle of cancer for thirty-two years. She will be dearly missed.

Welcoming her into her heavenly home were her dad, Jim Roskens; Grandma Rosetta and Grandpa Eite M Roskens; uncle, Jerry Roskens; step-father, Raymond VanderBroek; aunts, DorEtta, Delores, Benita and Vicky; father-in-law, Orlin Trojahn.

Left to cherish her is her husband, Ken; children, Michael and Michelle; mother, Della VanderBroek; brother, Tim (Peggy) Roskens; sister, Deb (Alex) Jones; mother-in-law, Diane Trojahn; sister-in-law, Tammy (Doug) Frederick, Karla (Craig) Lindsey, Karen (Sam) Morris, Terri Larson; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and a whole bunch of friends.
