Mark Elliott

A Visitation for Mark Elliott, age 69, of Lake Park, will be held on Friday, September 18, 2026, from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m., with a Prayer Service at 11:30 a.m., all at CrossWinds Church in Spirit Lake. Interment will follow at Westport Cemetery in rural Lake Park.

Mark Wade Elliott, age 69, of Lake Park, passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2026, surrounded by his family.

Mark was born in Muscatine, Iowa, to Roland Elliott and Bonnie Burns. He attended school in Muscatine before enlisting in the United States Army. Mark proudly served his country in the Army and National Guard before being medically discharged. He was very proud of his military service and remained a proud American throughout his life.

Mark was a true outdoorsman and enjoyed spending time outside whenever he could. He had a lifelong love of motorcycles, especially his 1949 Panhead and 2001 Heritage. He was also a big fan of John Wayne and westerns. Mark and Deb shared a love of music and enjoyed attending many concerts together throughout the years.

Faith and family were important parts of Mark's life. He and Deb were members of CrossWinds Church in Spirit Lake. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend who especially enjoyed attending his grandchildren's sporting events and extracurricular activities. He cherished the time spent with his family and the memories they made together.

Those who knew Mark will remember his personality, his love of the outdoors and motorcycles, his pride in his military service, and his unwavering love for his family. Friends and family would often hear his familiar go-to phrase, “All Ate Up,” a saying that will forever bring a smile and memories of Mark to those who knew and loved him.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Deb Elliott of Lake Park; children: Jacob (Joselle Anne) Elliott of Savannah, Georgia; Brandon (Erin) Elliott of Hartley; Cyndal (Nicole) Baier of Newton; Amber (Jeff) Hiveley of Harris; Junior (Rhonda) Larson of Crooks, Colorado; Christine Larson of Jackson, Minnesota; Thor (friend, LeAnn) Larson of Mankato, Minnesota; Kammerson Larson of Sherburn, Minnesota; grandchildren: Kelsey, Jaelyn, Liberty, Carolina, Brooklyn, Hunter, Gage, Charlotte, Lanette; step-mom, Julie Elliott; sister, Rolanna (friend, John) Frye; extended family and friends.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Dennis and Bruce Elliott; and his grandparents.
