A Celebration of Life for Lee Hoferman, age 55, of Milford will be held Friday, January 24 at 4:00pm at Good News Community Church in Okoboji. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 2:00-4:00PM at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be given in honor of Lee.
LeMoine “Lee” Duane Hoferman, the son of Margie (Weiland) and Duane LeMoine Hoferman, was born December 12, 1964 in Sioux City, Iowa. He grew up in Alta, Iowa and graduated from Alta High School. Lee moved to Missouri for a time and in 1995, moved to Milford, Iowa.
On June 3, 1998, Lee was married to Patty Hoferman. Throughout his life, Lee enjoyed hunting, fishing, softball and baseball. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and extended family.
Lee was a member of the Good News Community Church, NRA, Ducks Unlimited and Pheasants Forever.
Lee passed away unexpectedly on January 16, 2020 at fifty-five years of age.
He is survived by his wife, Patty Hoferman; children, Rose Keesling, Jared Keesling, Matthew Keesling, Brent Hoferman, Joshua Hoferman, Jonathan Hoferman, Michael Morris and Dakota Morris; mother, Margie Hoferman; brother, Keith Hoferman; uncles and aunts, George Weiland, Linda Anderson, Ruth Dierenfeld, Darlene Barrickman, Ruth Hoferman, Bob Strand, Donna Strand, Boyd Hoferman and Marilu Hoferman.
Lee was preceded in death by his grandparents, George and Lillian Weiland and Mamie and Leo Hoferman; father, Duane LeMoine Hoferman; uncle, James Weiland and uncle, Clinton Hoferman.
