Ken Humphrey

Ken Humphrey of Lake Park, Iowa passed away at Hartley Community Memorial Health Center on May 19, 2025, as a result of a long recurring cancer battle due to Agent Orange exposure.

It never stopped him from living life to the fullest.

Ken was born April 23,1943 to Clifford and Dorothy Humphrey in Sioux City, Iowa.

He was a man of many interests. He loved his country where he served in the United States Navy first, then the Air Force for a total of 23 years of service to his country. He was a member of the American Legion in Lake Park.

Ken loved fishing, hunting, coin collecting, and writing short stories. Genealogy was also a passion of his.

Ken was predeceased by his first wife, Claudia Humphrey whom he met while stationed in Germany. He later married Patrice Humphrey who also preceded him in death.

Those left to honor Ken's memory include his son, Greg Humphrey; sister, Karen Sexton; stepdaughter, Patricia (Ken) Tindel; significant friend, Judy Stoltz as well as numerous friends.

A military memorial service will take place at Graceland Park Cemetery at a later date.
