Justin Stahly

A funeral service for Justin Stahly, age 39, of Milford, will be held Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at 10:30 AM at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Spirit Lake. Burial will be at Milford Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday, January 8th after 4:00 PM with the family present from 5:00-7:00 PM at Turner Jenness Funeral Home in Milford. Justin Robert Stahly, the son of Marlys (Wilson) and Jeff Stahly, was born November 18, 1978 in Spirit Lake, Iowa. After graduating from Harris-Lake Park High School, Justin received his associate degrees in Applied Science and Agribusiness Technology at Iowa Lakes Community College in Emmetsburg. On September 6, 2008, Justin was united in marriage to Christine Hall in Milford, Iowa. They were blessed with two children, Jake and Hayden. Justin farmed alongside his dad and formed Stahly Family Farms. Together they farmed land in Milford, Lake Park and the surrounding area. Justin loved the outdoors, especially camping, canoeing and snowmobiling. He was also an avid Vikings fan. Justin passed away January 4, 2018 as a result of a snowmobile accident near Sioux Rapids, Iowa at thirty-nine years of age. He is survived by his wife, Christine Stahly of Milford; son, Jake and daughter, Hayden; parents, Jeff and Marlys Stahly; grandparents, Robert and Joann Stahly; sister, Janna (Trevor) Christiansen and their children, Caleb, Noah and Andrew; sister, Marcee (Ben) Irlbeck and their children, Kaia and Keaton; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Justin was preceded in death by his grandparents, Victor and Aleta Wilson and close friends, Jake Jansen and Adam Anderson.
