Frank Edmunds

A Memorial Service For Frank Edmunds, age 75, of Spirit Lake, will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at Turner Jenness Funeral Home in Spirit Lake. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. Interment will be at Memory Gardens in Spirit Lake.

Franklin Charles Edmunds, the son of Charles and Ruth Edmunds, was born on January 31, 1951, in Spirit Lake, Iowa. He lived in Spencer and South Dakota for a time but spent most of his life in Spirit Lake.

Frank had a passion for racing and old classic cars, loved spending time fishing, and especially cherished the time he shared with his family.

Frank passed away on June 26, 2026, at Lakes Regional Healthcare in Spirit Lake, Iowa at seventy-five years of age.

He is survived by his daughter, Jenny (Curtis) Drost; son, Curtis (Jane) Edmunds; his stepdaughter, Bobbi Jo Obermann; three sisters, Pam Edmunds, Joan Browning, and Edith Ardnt; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; along with other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Ruth Edmunds; his son, Cory Edmunds; and two sisters, Janet and Delores.
