Donna Rae Vos, the daughter of Lawrence and Dorothy (Vernon) Feyerabend, was born on November 3, 1942, in Council Bluffs, Iowa. She was baptized as an infant at the Church of Christ in Sheldon.

She attended school and graduated from Sheldon High School. On February 5, 1961, Donna was united in marriage to Paul Kenneth Vos in Sheldon, Iowa. Together, they shared 62 years of marriage, building a life centered on love and family.

Donna was a devoted homemaker and a loving mother to her children. Over the years, she lived in Sheldon before making homes in Spirit Lake and later Lake Park, where she resided from 2010 onward.

As a young girl, Donna enjoyed helping in her parents’ greenhouse in Sheldon, where she developed a lifelong appreciation for flowers and plants. She found great joy in the outdoors, especially camping and fishing. Donna also had a deep love for dogs and cherished traveling to Texas during the winter months. She and Paul spent time as campground hosts at Marble Beach, an experience they greatly enjoyed.

Above all, Donna treasured time spent with her large family, who remained the center of her life. She passed away peacefully on April 16, 2026.
