She married Perry Timmer on August 12th, 1989 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Lakefield. Dawn was a devoted mother of three children and recent grandmother. Dawn was diagnosed with stage three C ovarian cancer on May 23rd, 2010 and pursued an eight-year battle with several ups and downs. She had an undeniable faith for her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and enjoyed attending Crosswinds Church. She enjoyed attending her children's school activities, scrapbooking, and always loved to tend to her garden when she felt up to it, canning, and making her award-winning salsa. Fall was her favorite time of year as she would cook meals for the men in the field during harvest and would get to spend quality time with Perry running the combine. Dawn also loved to entertain her friends and family. She was always planning parties, from birthday to the Fourth of July, she loved to be surrounded by the ones she loved. Dawn will always be remembered for her infectious laugh and contagious smile. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Dawn is survived by her husband Perry, three children Kassidy, Colton, and Destiny, mother Sharon Voss, father and mother-in-law Kenneth and Alma Timmer, three brothers Doug Voss, Darvin and Cheryl (Ulbricht) Voss, David and Patrice (Kraft) Voss, sister Denise and Jim Hemphill, four brothers-in-law Troy Harms, Daryl Timmer, Myron and Carol Timmer, Kyle and Kari (Heisinger) Timmer, grandson Noah Stith, nineteen nieces and nephews, and eleven great nieces and nephews.
