Claudia Humphrey

A Celebration of Life for Claudia Humphrey, age 85, of Lake Park, will be held Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 3:00 pm at the Pearl Valley Nursing Home in Lake Park. Memorials may be directed to the Humane Society or Lake Park Library. Claudia Hildegard Humphrey, the daughter of Hildegard (Himpel) and Paul Dornheim, was born January 14, 1933 in Berlin, Germany. Claudia was united in marriage to Kenneth Humphrey in 1971 and although they were divorced later, remained friends throughout their lives. Claudia lived in Sioux City, Iowa before moving to Lake Park, Iowa after her retirement. Claudia passed away January 19, 2018 at Pearl Valley Nursing Home in Lake Park, Iowa at eighty-five years of age. She is survived by her son, Gregor-Phillipp Humphrey of Newton, Iowa. Claudia was preceded in death by her parents.
