When Cindy was not traveling, she could usually be found doing Tai Chi, yoga, volunteering or simply relaxing with her head buried in a good book. When possible, weekend summers were spent at the lake house on Big Spirit enjoying the sounds of the water and cool breeze or driving around in her Miata with the top down. Cindy never stopped enjoying life while battling leukemia that was discovered in April 2011. Cindy kept her illness a personal secret from her friends as well as family members.
