Brandee Roberts

A visitation for Brandee Roberts, 52, will be held 4-6 PM on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at Turner Jenness Funeral Home in Milford. A private family graveside service will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the American Cancer Society in Brandee's memory.

Brandee Lynn Roberts, 52, of Arnolds Park, Iowa, passed away at Spencer Municipal Hospital on July 30, 2025, after a hard-fought battle with cancer.

Brandee was born on October 8, 1972, in San Diego, California and later moved with her family to Iowa.

She attended Okoboji schools and after graduation she went on to become an LPN. She was a dedicated nurse at many facilities during her career until the cancer took that away from her. She was loved by so many of her co-workers and residents because she was a giver until the very end. There was never a cause she would not support in one way or another. She loved all-inclusive trips to tropical places, never met a slot machine she didn’t like, and had an affinity for shopping passed down from “The Great One” Grandma Jo, the ability to feed an army even when it was just a few, and never turned away a stray.

Brandee is survived by her son Chance Roberts, the love of her life Brad Mortenson and his children Kady and Clayton, beloved sidekick Poo-poo, mother Diane Krueger (Gary), best friend and uncle Danny Roberts, brother Tyrrel Kinkade, sister Tracy Christensen (Sean), stepbrothers Brent Krueger (Carla) and Alan Krueger (Jadee), along with many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, extended family and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Milton and JoAnn Hamm.
