Becky Liston

A memorial gathering for Becky Liston, age 63, of Spirit Lake will be held Friday, July 20, 2018 from 2:00pm - 4:00 pm, at Turner Jenness Funeral Home in Spirit Lake. Becky passed away Saturday, July 14, 2018 at her home in Spirit Lake. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in Becky's name may be left to the discretion of the family. Rebecca "Becky" Ann Liston, daughter of Gladys (Laugerman) and Clifford Dyvig, was born August 20, 1954 in Webster City, Iowa. Becky married Lenny Liston and the couple had two daughters, Carmen and Tara. She spent eight years in the Naval Reserve and also worked for MCI Communications Security. Becky later met Gregg Winterfeld and the couple shared their lives together for the past twenty-five years. They lived in Hudson, South Dakota before moving to Spirit Lake, Iowa in 2001. She enjoyed spending time with friends, playing crossword lottery scratchers, karaoke, watching forensic files and listening to the oldies. Becky was one of the most loving, giving and selfless people, she was a joy to be around and anyone who spent any time with her immediately felt her warmth. However, her greatest pride was her children and her granddaughter. Becky passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 14, 2018 in her home in Spirit Lake, Iowa at sixty-three years of age. She is survived by her husband, Gregg Winterfeld; two daughters, Carmen and her husband, Erick Nila of Haughton, LA and Tara and her husband, Sean Moore of Cabot, AR; one granddaughter, Alexis Nila and four grand-"fur" babies, Andre, Ralphie, Roscoe and Chance; mother, Gladys Culmer; brothers, Dale Dyvig and Jerry and Mary Dyvig; sister, Lynette and Bryan Taylor. Becky was preceded in death by her father, Clifford I. Dyvig.
