Because a funeral service isn't an everyday occurrence
or an easy task, most people don't know where to turn first. Call
us. Then, if the place of death is not at a medical facility,
medical authorities must be notified. We will then call your clergy,
if you desire, for your spiritual support and comfort.
We will:
- Transfer the deceased to the funeral home and prepare for
burial or cremation;
- Gather information for and file a death certificate and other
legal documents;
- Meet with you and your family to help plan funeral arrangements
and explain the types of funeral services;
- Schedule an appropriate time, place and vitiation and service;
- Guide you in other funeral-related selections, such as casket,
urn, vault, maker, clothing, flowers, music, programs, displays,
and transportation;
- Help with paperwork that ranges from obituaries to benefit
claim forms:
- Notify employers, attorneys, insurance company, banks of the
death;
- Provide compassionate support before, during, and after the
funeral;
When death occurs out of town
while traveling, wintering out of state, or using medical service
at a distance, call us first. Almost without exception, we can contain
the necessary mortuary services at a lower cost and pass along the
savings to you. In addition, we make plans for the return home transportation
to. We do that for you. You know us and we know what to do.
Our funeral directors can help plan a meaningful. personal ceremony
by offering options and guidance through the arrangement process.
When planning a funeral, be sure to ask questions and tell us what
you'd like.
The decisions are yours, the director's
role is merely advisory. |
