Visitation:  Friday, October 1, 2010, after 3:00pm with the family present from 3:00-5:00pm at the Turner Jenness Funeral Home in Milford. 

Wes Turner was born March 25, 1957 in Knoxville, Tennessee, the son of Jack and Doris Evans.  Wes served in the United States Navy.  He lived in Georgia, Tennessee, Jamaica and Alabama before moving to Iowa in 1989.

On May 7, 2005, Wes was united in marriage to Donna Lee Ullensvang in Milford, Iowa.  The couple made their home in rural Milford.

Wes worked at Sunrise Eggs, where he was a maintenance engineer.  He enjoyed riding motorcycles, horseback riding and spending time with family and friends.  Wes attended Faith Evangelical Free Church in Spirit Lake.

Wes was a very hard working and giving person, who will be missed by many. 

Wes passed away September 27, 2010 at the Spencer Hospital at fifty-three years of age.

He is survived by his wife, Donna; sister-in-law, Diane; mother, Dot; sisters, Jackie and her husband, Charles and Toni Varner and her husband Tim.  Also surviving are many other beloved family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jack, and a brother, Mike Turner.

Although Wes may be gone, he is still giving.
