Beulah May Senn

Beulah May Senn was born January 26, 1920 in Osceola County, near Harris, the daughter of Delbert and Florence (Smith) Morfitt. She attended school at Allison #7 and Harris Consolidated School.

Beulah was united in marriage to Robert Senn on August 5, 1961 in Harris. He preceded her in death on August 21, 1983.

Mrs. Senn was a member of the Harris United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women, where she was very active in all phases of the church. She served as the Harris City Clerk from 1972-1983, a volunteer at the Senior Activity Center in Ocheyedan, Osceola County Council on Aging and Fair Share Board before moving to Spirit Lake on Feb. 1, 1994. She was a member of the H.S. Club, a past member of the Fifteen Club and also a member of the Ocheyedan American Legion Auxiliary and very interested in all community affairs.

Mrs. Senn passed away Monday, August 24, 2009 at the Lakes Regional Healthcare in Spirit Lake at eighty-nine years of age.

She is survived by twin sons, Harland Wills and wife Delores of Spirit Lake and Herschel Wills and wife Orvelda of Ames, Iowa; two daughters, Helene Agee of Spirit Lake and Holly Laue and husband, Ralph of Spirit Lake; eighteen grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren; one sister, June Boots; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, one son, Dale Wills, in infancy; her parents; five brothers, Lloyd, Robert, Henry, Elmo and Delmar Morfitt; three sisters, Evelyn Hurst, Ada Singer and Fern Senn.
