Ruth I. Busch  Ruth Irene Busch was born to Mervyn and Irene (Walker) McLennan in Earlham, Iowa on January 19, 1927. She graduated from Earlham High School in 1944. She attended Simpson College and graduated with a Bachelor of Music in 1948. Ruth taught music in Panora, Avoca, Sac City, and Auburn. While living in Sac City she taught many piano lessons. She also was involved in church choir directing in Sac City, Rock Rapids and Storm Lake. After Marvin went into the insurance business they lived in Rock Rapids, Storm Lake and Okoboji. Ruth accompanied her husband, Marvin, when he went to work with Laborers for Christ.Mrs. Busch passed away on Thursday, January 17, 2008 at the Heart Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. She was 80 years of age. She is survived by her son, David Busch and his wife, Julie of Des Moines, IA; daughter, Gayle Anderson and her husband, Don of Kissimmee, FL; three grandchildren, Christopher Busch, Kelly Anderson Gibson and her husband, Billy and Jacob Anderson; one great grandson, Drew Gibson. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Marvin in 1995. IN MEMORY |
