Kay Hoeppner

Kameron Kay Hoeppner was born September 9, 1943 in Milford, Iowa, the daughter of Harvey and Gladys (Jensen) Madsen. She was raised and educated in Milford, finishing her final year of high school in California.

Kay was united in marriage to Robert Hoeppner on December 6, 1968. The couple made their home in Hartley, where they raised their family, until moving to Spencer in 2003.

Kay was a member of First Lutheran Church in Milford. She was also a member of the Second Chance for Life Transplant Support Group. Kay enjoyed riding motorcycle with Robert and visiting with family and friends. She also enjoyed the ocean, roller skating and her faithful dog, Nickie.

Kay passed away Saturday, July 12, 2008 at Spencer Municipal Hospital in Spencer at sixty-four years of age.

She is survived by her husband, Robert; son Todd (Gail) of Spencer; daughter, Kristie (Kevin) of Charles City, Iowa, four grandchildren; other family and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a son, Mike Hoeppner.
