Cleora Pederson was born May 16, 1916 at Fairmont, Minnesota to Rassmus and Ida (Bettin) Thompson.

Cleora was married to Leo Sharar. Leo died in 1956 and she married Peter Pederson. Cleora lived in Spirit Lake for the last 40 years. She was an avid fan of professional wrestling on TV and often traveled to other towns to attend matches in person. She also like to fish, but most of all, she enjoyed her family.

On March 17, Cleora died at Lakes Regional Hospital in Spirit Lake.

She is survived by her children, Virginia Shultz and her husband, Bert, of Spirit Lake, Darold Sharar and his wife, Marilyn, of Badger, Iowa, and Dawn Shryock and the late Bob Shryock of Estherville; 15 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo; parents; 8 sisters; 5 brothers; 2 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. She was the last of her family.
