Margarete A. Hander Margarete Arlene Hander was born February
16, 1920 in Sioux Rapids, Iowa the daughter of Charlie and Minnie
(Gipe) Rusch. She was raised and educated in northwest Iowa.
Margarete was united in marriage to Pete Hander on February 23, 1946 in Worthington, Minnesota. The couple made their home in Lake Park for several years before moving to Montgomery and finally Arnolds Park. Margarete was affiliated with the Methodist Church. She enjoyed visiting with people. Margarete passed away Sunday, August 12, 2007 at Northshire in Spencer at eighty-seven years of age. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Minnie Rusch, husband Pete, brother, Charles Rusch and sister, Bertha Sperry. She is survived by a sister, Beulah Rusch, as well as nieces and
