Lawrence Lowell Mills passed away May 6th, 2007 at Mill Pond Retirement Center in Ankeny, IA. He was 89 years old.

Lawrence was born on May 5th, 1918 to Don & Edna Mills in Milford, IA.

He married Olive Goodell on December 10 th, 1939 and they lived and farmed in Dickenson County for over 65 years. He loved his church and was a faithful member of the Spencer Seventh Day Adventist Church. He also loved his Gold Wing motorcycle and he and Olive spent many days riding to retread events all over the U.S.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Olive, sister, Mereb Mills, and grandson, Travis Mills.

He is survived by three children, son, Dwight and wife, Donna Mills, of Ankeny, son Lowell, and wife,, Sue Mills of Avon Park, FL, daughter Janice Miller of Brunswick, ME, brother, Leonard Mills of California, 10 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
