LaVerne Everett Edmunds was born on November 27, 1924 in Milford, IA, son of Charles and Charlotte (Martin) Edmunds.  LaVerne was united in marriage to Mary Jane Smith and the couple resided in Spirit Lake. 

LaVerne passed away on January 22, 2007 at Lakes Regional Healthcare in Spirit Lake, IA at eighty-two years of age.

Memorial services were held at 1:30PM on Friday, January 26, 2007 at Turner Funeral Home in Spirit Lake.  Interment was at Memory Gardens in Spirit Lake, IA.
