Carol A. Taylor

Carol Ann Taylor was born to Marvin and Arlene (Roy) Cuklanz at Estherville, Iowa on June 21, 1949. She grew up in Terril where she graduated from high school. She then attended Iowa Lakes Community College for a year.

On July 3, 1976 she was united in marriage to Richard Taylor at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Terril. To this union two sons, Dan and Nick were born.

Mrs. Taylor died Sunday, February 11, 2007 at the Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls at 57 years of age.

Carol was a member of First Lutheran Church where she was active in the church choir, WELCA, Circle, and Bible study. She also served as a church organist, Sunday school teacher and was a Meals on Wheels volunteer. She was a member of the Many Voices Choir, enjoyed gospel and country music and loved reading books. Carol was a joy filled witness of Jesus Christ.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Taylor of Milford, two sons, Dan Taylor and his wife, Kara of Jackson, MN and Nick Taylor of Spirit Lake, IA, and her mother, Arlene Kussman and her husband, Howard of Estherville, IA. Survivors also include two brothers and their spouses, Larry and Nancy Cuklanz of Granite Falls, MN, Rick and Cindy Cuklanz of Leonardtown, MD and one sister and her spouse, Colleen and Rick Skuya of Sioux City, IA, several aunts and uncles and many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Taylor was preceded in death by her father, Marvin Cuklanz and several aunts and uncles.
