Robert Soat Robert Scott Soat was born December 1, 1958 in Jackson, Mississippi, the son of Donald L. Soat and Winona R. Cushman. He was raised and educated in Terril, Iowa, graduating from Terril High School in 1977. Scott entered the United States Marine Corps. on December 30, 1977, serving until receiving a Honorable Discharge on December 29, 1980. Scott has lived in Terril and Spencer, Iowa, Jackson, Mississippe and Colorado Springs, Colorado. In 1999, Scott moved to Phoenix, Arizona where he was the Owner of SS Unlimited. Scott passed away suddenly June 29, 2006 in Phoenix, at forty-seven years of age. He is survived by a daughter, Shannon N. Soat of Phoenix, AZ; father, Donald L. Soat of Jackson, MI; brothers, Kerry D. Soat and his wife Linda of Phoenix, AZ and Ronald R. Soat of Spencer, IA; sisters, Robin S. Schmidt and her husband Mark of Everly, IA and Kay M Determan and her husband Mike of Spencer, IA. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and special friend, Doris Martin of Phoenix, AZ. He was preceded in death by his mother, Winona R. (Smitley) Cushman, brother, David L.
