Glenn Klitzke Glenn Fredrick Klitzke was born August 10, 1954 in Arlington, Minnesota to Marella and Orville Klitzke. Glenn resided in Green Isle, Minnesota until 1997, when he moved his family to Spirit Lake, Iowa and started his company, G.E.I.S., Inc. He was an admirable business owner who ran his company with great compassion and enthusiasm. He was a man of unusual talent, wit and knowledge. He was a risk-taker who possessed charisma of a very rare kind. He offered good conversation which challenged the logic of many with his unorthodox theories. He unwound with a game of golf or a good book. Most of all, he was an unselfish and proud family man who left an enormous legacy. Glenn made his final departure at the age of 52 on September 9, 2006 after a valiant struggle with esophageal cancer. He passed surrounded by loved ones at Methodist Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota. Glenn will be greatly missed by his wife of 32 years, Connie, his son, Michael, his daughter, Maggie Compton, and by his son-in-law Mike Compton and his grandson, Eli Compton. Others who grieve his loss are his mother, Marella, his brothers, Byron, Leland and Wayne Klitzke, his sister, Marlys Schauer and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Orville, and his grandparents Fred and Emma Bullert and Theophil and Caroline Klitzke. In Loving Memory SERVICES OFFICIANT TRIBUTE MUSIC PALLBEARERS INTERMENT |
