Goldie Irene Dilts, 103, of Spirit Lake died October 27, 2006 at Hilltop Care Center in Spirit Lake. She had been a resident of Hilltop for several years. A family service will be held at the Troy Mills (Iowa) Cemetery.

Goldie was born February 4, 1903 at Troy Mills, Iowa to Leghlman and Carrie Torrey Dilts. As a young woman she moved to Washington D. C. where she worked for Western Union. In 1966 she moved to Spirit Lake. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.

She is survived by a nephew, James Sherrets of Omaha, NE. Goldie was preceded in death by three brothers and five sisters.
