Faye Miller Faye Arlene Miller was born December 5, 1919 at Langdon, Iowa to Charles and Ama Dresser Sprague. She graduated from Excelsior High School. On December 20, 1939 she was married to Mervin Miller at the Little Brown Church at Nashua, Iowa. For a majority of their life they farmed southeast of Milford. In 1978 they retired and moved into Milford. Faye had many interests including, knitting, sewing, cooking for her family, reading and traveling with Merv in the western states. In 1999 she moved to Spencer after Merv entered a nursing home. He passed away on September 6, 2000. In addition to Merv, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Ross and Paul Sprague. Faye passed away on December 21 at Hilltop Care Center in Spirit Lake. Surviving are her children, Gary Miller of Milford, Richard and June Miller of Spencer, William and Nancy Miller of Mankato, MN, Steven and Arlys Miller of Spencer, Eugene and Glenda Miller of Phoenix, Az and Pamela and Jeffrey Hurdle of Spirit Lake; grandchildren Tim Miller, Annette Lahm, Jason Miller, Chase Miller, Angie Miller, Fathom Hurdle, Shelbie Hurdle, Eric Miller, Jon Miller and Mindy Miller; and great grandchildren, Tim Miller, Jr., Davis Lahm, Conner Lahm, Brexton Williams and Landon Miller.
