Dorothy Anderson Dorothy Anderson was born March 9, 1927 the daughter of Arthur and Violet (Callan) Halberg at Luck, Wisconsin. She was raised and educated in Luck, where she graduated high school. Dorothy was united in marriage to Marvin Palmberg on August 22, 1948 at Atlas, Wisconsin. The couple made their home in Aitkin, Minnesota, Storm Lake, Iowa and Ft. Dodge, Iowa. Marvin passed away in 1980. She moved to Spirit Lake in 1988. She was united in marriage to Robert A. Anderson on November 24, 1990 in Milford, Iowa. Dorothy was a member of Union Memorial Church in Milford. Her greatest love was spending time and taking care of family. She was a wonderful cook and always had a beautiful garden and was a member of the local Garden Club. Her favorite past time was quilting which showed in the many quilts she made for family and friends. She is survived by her husband, Robert A. Anderson of Spirit Lake; children Laurie Palmberg of Las Vegas, Nevada and Dale Palmberg and his wife, Pat of Spirit Lake; step-children, Linda Theis and her husband Bob of Davenport, Iowa, Sue Nissen and her husband Mike of Malvern, Arkansas, Janet Kean and her husband Joe of Norwalk, Iowa and Scott Anderson and his wife Jean of Ft. Thomas, Kentucky; sister, Corine Littlefield of Turtle Lake, Wisconsin; grandchildren, Erik, Nikki, Thor, Ian, Blair, Justin, Jacob, Billy, Chris, Amber, Alex, Brian and Erik; great-grandchildren, Weston, Paige, Athena, Patrick, and Skye.
