Vera Lucille Morrow Vera Lucille Morrow was born May 25, 1920 at the family farm home south of Cleghorn, Iowa to Emro and Hulda Elizabeth Brandt Walker. She graduated as Salutatorian from Meridan High School, Meridan, Iowa , then studied in the University of Iowa nursing program for one year. After her marriage to Glen Morrow, they farmed at Cherokee, Iowa from 1939 to 1949, and at Lake Park from 1949 to 1977. Lucille worked at Campbell Soup Company in Worthington from 1959 to 1977, retiring as a foreperson. In the spring of 1977, they retired from farming and moved in Lake Park. Glen passed away in 1983. Lucille continued to live in Lake Park until 1997, when she moved to Wall Lake, Iowa. She was baptized and confirmed at the Oakdale Free Church in Meridan, Iowa and was a member of the Lake Park United Methodist Church for most of her adult life. She was also a member of the Rebekah Lodge of Lake Park. Other interests were flower gardening, playing bridge, reading, current events, movies, crocheting, attending the activities for her children and grandchildren, and music, especially the piano. The highlight of her week was with her weekly ladies coffee group at the Tjaden Café in Lake View. Death came on July 22, 2005 at Trinity Regional Medical Center, Ft. Dodge, after having a heart attack at her home in Wall Lake earlier in the day. Lucille is survived by her children: W. Lee Morrow (Shirley), Terry D Morrow (Debra), John D. Morrow, (Deb) M. Anne Kohlhaas, (Harley) and Jean E. Morrow (Rick Davis); grandchildren: Shelly Roth (Todd), Scott Morrow, Michael Morrow (Gail), Nicholas Morrow (Brandy), Cody Morrow, Noreen Morrow, Angela Schulz (John), Neil Morrow (Kim), Jeremy Kohlhaas, Joshua Kohlhaas, Jacob Kohlhaas, Christopher Kohlhaas and Elizabeth Davis; six great-granddaughters and four great grandsons: a beloved cousin, Avis Dunn (Lloyd) and many nieces and nephews.
