    James Franklin Hiner

James Franklin Hiner was born June 18, 1916 at Grant City, Missouri to Charles and Missouri Ann Robertson Hiner.  He married Madge Richards in 1938 and they lived at Sac City until 1970 when they moved to Spirit Lake.

James was a veteran of WWII serving with the U. S. Army from 1943 to 1945.  He worked as a carpenter until his retirement about 10 years ago.  Jim died August 7, 2005 at Mission Nursing Home and Rehabilitation in Mission, Texas.

He is survived by his son, Charles and wife Carol Hiner of Spirit Lake, two granddaughters and a grandson.  Preceding  hime in death were a son, James, brothers,George, Marcus, Basil, Truman  Hiner and sisters, Martha Knight, Ethel Hulot and Ann Hiner.
