Alice McKinney Alice McKinney was born June 20, 1909 at Hartley, Iowa, to Earl and Mathilda Tonnges Snook. The family moved to Milford where she graduated from high school in 1926. She was married to M. T. (Bud) McKinney and they operated a café and McKinney Cottages on East Lake Okoboji for many years. Bud died in 1974. Alice died at the Milford Nursing Center on Thursday, March 3 where she had been a resident for several years. Surviving are a sister-in-law, Mildred Snook of Mt. Home, Arkansas, and stepson, Mel McKinney of Eureka,California. Preceding her in death were her husband, Mel, step daughter, Irene Hudson, sisters, Ruth Byers and Mae Walters and brother, Wilber Snook. IN MEMORY SERVICE CLERGY MUSIC PALLBEARERS INTERMENT |
