Terri Hawk Terri Joanne Hawk was born on October 12, 1952 in Hartley, Iowa, the daughter of Delbert and Joanne (Shriner) Wohlert. She lived in Sutherland, Iowa and then graduated from Spirit Lake High School in 1970. On August 29, 1970, Terri was united in marriage to Jim Hawk in Nashua, IA. Later Terri moved to Nacogdoches, TX where she worked as a Nurse Assistant. Terri was involved in the VFW Auxiliary and enjoyed fishing and crafts. Terri passed away on Friday, January 30, 2004 at the Hilltop Care Center in Spirit Lake, at the age of fifty-one. Terri is survived by her sons, Jason Hawk of Nacogdoches, TX, Joel Hawk and his wife Kelly of Nacogdoches, TX, Jess Hawk of Spirit Lake, and Mitchell Newbiggin of Spirit Lake, IA; grandson, Colton Hawk of Nacogdoches, TX; her mother, Joanne Wohlert of Spirit Lake, IA; brothers, Larry Wohlert of Spencer, IA, Kelly Wohlert and his wife Cindy of O’Neill, NE; grandmother, Effie Wohlert of Sutherland, IA and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Hawk; father, Delbert Wohlert; grandparents and her grandfather. |
