Raymond Eugene Enge Raymond Eugene Enge died June 5, 2004 at the Veterans Administration Center in Sioux Falls. SD. Raymond was born April 5, 1927 in Charles City, Iowa. He attended Vernon Consolidated and Plover, Iowa, schools. Raymond served in the U. S. Marines during WW 11 and the Korean War. He lived and worked in the Washington, D. C. area for many years. In later years he lived in Spirit Lake. On September 3, 1950 he married Adeline Paasche in Crookston, Minnesota. Ray is survived by his daughter, Dianne Cymbaluk; two grandchildren, Michelle and Trevor; brother, Allen (Pat) Enge of St. George, Utah; sisters, Ilene (Carl) Knapp of Ringsted, IA, Phyllis Oberg of Grand Forks, ND and Norma (Jim) Miller of Fargo, ND. Preceding Ray in death were his parents, and two brothers, Arnold and Claire Enge. Services were held
Thursday, June 10, 10:30 AM at the Turner Funeral
Home in Spirit Lake. Rev. Tim Nappe officiated. Burial
was in Lakeview Cemetery, Spirit Lake with military
honors by John W. Kidd American Legion Post 23 and
VFW Post 4514. |
