Myrna E. Waugh Myrna E. Waugh passed away on November 18, 2004 in Spirit Lake. She was 100 years old. Born, Myrna E. Ziehr on March 11, 1904 to parents Anna and Rudy Ziehr of Harris,IA. She married her dancing partner, Hubie, in Waterloo, IA. on September 18,1929. Myrna was a long standing member of
The Order of Eastern Star and the United Methodist Church. Along with
her husband, Hubie, and their son, Bob, they ran Waugh Oil Company
in Spirit Lake for many years. She was a ballroom dancer, bridge player,
golfer and swimmer. As a young woman she swam a documented swim across
West Lake Okoboji! The family would like to thank the
staffs of Wel-Life, Hilltop Care Center and Dickinson County Memorial
Hospital for their outstanding care. To friends and family thank you
