Melody Chalstrom

Melody Ann Chalstrom, the daughter of Norman and Garland (Wintz) Anderson was born on September 22, 1956 at Sioux City, Iowa. She received her education at Milford and graduated from Milford High School.

She was married to Steve Chalstrom from 1980 to 2003.

Following her education she worked at Berkley & Co in Spirit Lake before taking employment with Verco Seal Co. and eventually Verco Freudenberg in Spencer. In recent months she has been living in Hull.

Melody died Sunday, July 18, 2004 at the Mercy Medical Center in Sioux City at 47 years of age.

Melody loved the outdoors and enjoyed a special fondness for horses. She was musically gifted and played music by ear. Melody enjoyed playing the piano, electric guitar and German accordion.

She is survived by her brother, Neal Anderson of Milford and his children, Shellee of Sheldon, April of Milford, and Nicholas of Missouri, friend, Charles H. Emery, Jr. of Hull, IA, former husband, Steve Chalstrom of Milford, and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
