Margaret Bunkers

Margaret Naber Bunkers was born January 4, 1921 at Milford, Iowa to Richard and Rose Long Naber. She attended the school there until 1933 when the family to the Sioux Valley, MN area. She graduated from the Sioux Valley high school in 1938.

On September 1940 Margaret was united in marriage to John Bunkers. They lived in the Garretson, SD area the first year of their marriage, then moved to Sioux Valley area in 1942 where they farmed. John passed away in 1978 and she moved to Spirit Lake, IA in 1982. Margaret died at her home on Sunday.

Survivors include her three children, Rodney Bunkers and wife, Carolyn, of Medford, MN, James Bunkers and wife, Leann, of Lakefield, MN and Sandra Johnson and husband, Merle, of Jackson, MN; six grandchildren, Douglas Bunkers, Michelle Eckert, Sandra Jilek, Justin Bunkers, Brandon Bunkers and Jeffrey Bunkers; 4 great grand children and 2 step- great grandchildren; and a sister, Mary Single of Spirit Lake.

Preceding her in death was her brother, Roman Naber.
