Hazel Sevatson

Hazel Sevatson was born to W.E. and Elma Moore on May 1, 1918 near Terril, Iowa. After graduation she became a cosmetologist.

She was united in marriage to Dr. S. M. Sevatson. They resided in Estherville and Spirit Lake.

Hazel passed away on Thursday, December 9, 2004 at the Bergan Mercy Medical Center in Omaha. She was 86 years of age.

She was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church in Spirit Lake.

Mrs. Sevatson is survived by one daughter, Trudy Carlton and her husband, Jim a retired Air Force Lieutenant Colonel. They reside in Omaha. Also surviving is her sister-in-law, Hazel Moore of Estherville, Iowa and many nephews and nieces.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and two brothers, Willard Moore, and Leonard Moore, who died in combat during World War II.
