Frank Tielbur

Frank Floyd Tielbur was born in Dickens, Iowa to Frank and Anabel Jones Tielbur, on August 11, 1932. His childhood days were spent on the family farm near Cornell, Iowa. He graduated from Cornell High School in 1949.

After graduation Frank enlisted in the U. S. Army where he served from 1950 to 1953. He was in Korea for 12 months with the 1st Cavalry Division. Upon his discharge he worked for Rosedale Dairy and Jersey Dairy until 1959. He then was employed at Midcontinent Bottlers for 35 years, retiring in 1994. For the past 10 years he has been employed at Northern Iowa Die Casting in Lake Park.

Frank always enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening. He treasured his children and grandchildren. He died at his home on Sunday after an illness of several weeks.

Frank is survived by his wife Jean; son, Douglas and wife, Janet, of Marshfield, WI, daughter Julie Mears of Spencer, son, Michael Tielbur and wife, Barb, of Early, IA, daughter, Cindy Hoppe Drefke and husband, Neal, of Spencer, daughter, Cheri Woolery and husband, Randy, of Spencer, and Monty Dammann and wife, Monica, of Spencer; mother, Anabel Tielbur of Spencer; 13 grandchildren; and siblings, Charles (Donna) Tielbur of Milford, Carole (Darrel) Madson of Gladwin, MI, and Jerry (Jo) Tielbur of Spencer. He was preceded in death by his father, Frank, Sr.
