Flossie Jensen

Flossie Jensen was born October 28, 1911 at Milford to Lillian and Robert Powell.

On February 20, 1957 she married Holger Jensen at Blue Earth, Minnesota. The couple farmed west of Estherville before retiring and moving to Spirit Lake in 1969. Holger died March 14, 1992.

Flossie was a member of Grace Lutheran Church of Spirit Lake. She passed away January 28 at the Milford Nursing Center where she had been a resident since August, 2003. She had lived at Wel-Life in Spirit Lake for the prior two years.

Surviving Flossie are her sisters Vivian Alexander of Spirit Lake, Norah Blanchfieldof Minneapolis, and Gwen Taylor of Terril and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Holger, parents, brothers, Mike, Verle, Robert, Jess, Otto and Donald and a sister, Melba.
