Edna Larson Edna Larson, 89, died on October 5, 2004 at Spirit Lake, Iowa. In 2004 Edna moved to Spirit Lake, Iowa to be near her family. Edna was born May 21, 1915 in Black Hammer Township in Houston County, Minnesota, the daughter of Theoline Kolsrud Rauk and Henry Rauk. On December 23, 1939 Edna married Arthur Larson. They resided in Spring Grove, Minnesota and Rochester, Minnesota. She retired from Marigold Foods in 1980. Edna and Art have four children: Audrey Himes of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Liz (Winfield) Holland III of Bonita Springs, Florida; Judi Larson of Denver, Colorado; and Gordon (Dorothy) Larson of Spirit Lake, Iowa. Edna has four grandchildren: Dana Himes of Enfield, Connecticut ; Angela (Troy) Shelangoski of Hogansville, Georgia; Jennifer (Scot) Lamm of Mount Pleasant, Iowa; and Brent Himes, serving with the United States Air Force. In addition, Edna has six great grandchildren. Also surviving is her sister, Gena Casterton, of Decorah, Iowa. Edna was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister, Melpha Rauk Johnson, and brother, Paul Richard Rauk .
