Carl Anderson Carl Albin Anderson was born October 8, 1920, in Armour, South Dakota, the son of Nels and Bertha (Gilkerson) Anderson. He was raised and educated in Armour. He came to Lake Park to work on a farm owned by Glen Moe. He was united in marriage to Deloris Kness on November 20, 1948. The couple made their home near Harris, where they farmed and raised their family. Carl was a member of the United Methodist Church in Harris. He enjoyed farming, woodworking, and spending time with his family. Carl passed away Friday, July 16, 2004 at Lake Park Care Center in Lake Park at eighty three years of age. He is survived by his children, Kathy Anderson Denny and her husband Bill, Stanley Anderson and his wife Alice (McFarland), Kurt Anderson and his wifeBonnie (Veenker) and Harold Anderson and his wife Nancy (Scheffler); daughter-in-law Glenda Watje Ihnen; seven grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Agnes Stewart; brother Gus Anderson; several nieces and nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Deloris, on March 26, 2004, son Kenneth Karl Anderson, sister Nina Anderson and brother Raymond Anderson.
