Allen Baines Allen Edward Baines, born January 2, 1911 in Blaine County, Iowa: died January 29, 2004 at the age of 93, the son of J. A. and Laura Baines. Allen was raised as a farmer. He lived at Oakcrest in Okoboji for many years, then his last years were spent as a resident at Lake Park Care Center. He is survived by one son, George, 4 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and other relatives. Allen was preceded in death by his mother, father, brothers and sisters.
